An analytic model that measures organizational readiness for transformation

The VBRA – originally developed at The Dartmouth Institute (TDI) and used by more than 50 health systems across the United States – is a unique strategy and workforce alignment analytic tool that applies bespoke statistical methods based on leadership, behaviour and change management theories to identify “development paths” that guide health systems to a reliable, high-performance care system under risk-based payment models.

The ACLC VBRA extends the distinctive nature of the analytic model by combining the lessons learned from the original VBRA (over 1.1 million data points) with the key competencies identified as critical for success by ACLC workgroups representing multiple types of healthcare stakeholders.
