The ACLC’s mission to accelerate value-based care readiness is accompanied by a growing need for improved health care coordination. In response to that demand, Western Governors University (WGU) has created the Bachelor of Science in Health Services Coordination (BSHSC) degree to build a workforce of health leaders who are prepared to navigate emerging value-based care systems, promote patient-centered holistic care and provide integrated care management.
WGU’s BSHSC program was developed in close collaboration with industry experts and policymakers and is closely aligned with the standards of the ACLC. WGU’s BSHSC degree program will prepare individuals to become dynamic and proficient leaders, equipped with the skill set to navigate the complex challenges in the healthcare industry.
